My name is John Waldon, and I am an English Education majorĀ  at Kennesaw State University. I have two wonderful kids: Ashley is a Senior at Georgia Southern University, and Drew just turned 14 and is in the 8th grade. I also have an amazing, genorous, supportive wife, Marie, who is a nurse manager for Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Yes, I travel 160 miles round trip every Tuesday and Thursday for school. Some see this as a burden, but I see it as a necessary means toward a positive career change. The title of my blog,”Your Face is in Spanish”, is not meant to offend. It’s a little inside joke between my son and me. One day a friend of his was reading something, an instruction booklet maybe, and my son was growing impatient. When Drew tried to hurry him up, his friend said, “I can’t read a word of this. It’s all in Spanish.” My son, of quick wit and fertile mind, replied,”Your face is in Spanish!” There you go.
